Cuisine: MexicanLocation: 12th and Pike Price: $$ out of $$$$
Service: The waiter was kind and accommodated our time constraints. The food and check came out in time for us to finish, pay, and make it to our next class.
Atmosphere: On a cloudy day, the cozy ambience that fills the place at night seeps in through the walls. The yellow lights give the place a warm glow, and I recommend going there for dinner too to see the full effect. On a hot day, the large garage-style windows open up to let in the breeze. The seats are plush and comfortable, and yes, Barrio has cloth napkins.
Food:
Need we say more than free chips and salsa? The possibility of free food provides enough incentive for every kid in the school to check out Barrio. If more is needed to be said, however, we could go on for a while. The salads, burritos, tacos, and ceviche were all very fresh and delicious. The chopped salad and pulled chicken salads are great choices, as they comes in half size, a perfect serving size for one person.
