1.“Spooky”~Classics IV
I appreciate that this isn’t a scary song, just spooky. Sometimes people are spooky but not scary! There’s a difference!
2. “Ghost Town” ~The Specials
This is a VERY spooky song. It was popular in 1981 in Britain, and talked about prevalent issues such as unemployment, violence, and riots in the inner city.
3. “Black Magic Woman”~Santana
Santana does jazz/rock/Hungarian folk so well. This is a pretty spooky tune.
4. “Scooby Doo”~TV Themes
A modern-day classic.
5. “Superstition”~Stevie Wonder
This song addresses many common superstitions and their effects, which is cool!
6. “She Blinded Me With Science”~Thomas Dolby
This song is a play on the British expression to “blind someone with science,” meaning to purposefully confuse them with an academic vocabulary.
7. “Haunted House”~Ace Cannon
This a great tune about an average Joe’s struggle with living in a haunted house. It is relatable and catchy!
8. “Tocatta and Fugue (DANCE REMIX)”~Monster’s Halloween Party feat. Tom Rossi
What can be better than a remix of Bach? Nothing, that’s what! This is song has a sick beat and is relevant always.
9. “Monster Mash-Bobby”~“Boris” Pickett
This is a classic as well. It is narrated by a mad scientist whose monster comes alive to create a new dance (the Monster Mash), a consequent smash hit!
